The Loeb Center's Alumni-in-Residence program is excited to offer 20-minute, 1-on-1, informational office hour appointments with advertising industry professional Andre Gray ’10.
Whether you want tips on developing a creative portfolio, advice on essential business skills for the advertising industry, or to explore what it’s like to work abroad—you’ll find Andre to be a grounded and insightful alum to meet. These appointments provide a great opportunity for resume reviews, in-depth questions about building on your own experiences, and time to learn more about the intersections of media and culture in advertising.
Andre Gray ’10 is the chief creative officer for global advertising agency Annex88. He began his career as a copywriter and worked up to creative director, leading award-winning campaigns for brands like adidas, Gatorade, Nissan, Las Vegas Tourism and Intercontinental Hotel Group. Andre spent the bulk of his career in Europe, using French language skills to connect and English writing skills to stand out.
Andre paved his own path as a first-gen student who veered from a pre-med track, and credits the rigor of his Black Studies major with providing the training in debate, research, and critical thinking that have helped him thrive professionally. Andre holds an M.F.A in Advertising, and an M.A. in Global Communications from The American University of Paris. He is among a small group of Black creatives in leadership roles in advertising, and a vocal advocate for equity and diversity in the industry.
