Alumni-in-Residence: Sign Up for Office Hours with Ambassador Bonnie Jenkins ’82

The Loeb Center's Alumni-in-Residence program is excited to offer 20-minute, 1-on-1 office hour appointments with Ambassador Bonnie Jenkins ’82.

Join Bonnie Jenkins ’82 for an informal 1-on-1 conversation to learn about her work and career and ask her your questions. Bonnie is currently the Founder and Executive Director of the Women of Color Advancing Peace, Security and Conflict Transformation (WCAPS). She founded this organization in 2017 to advance the leadership and professional development of women of color in the fields of international peace, security, and conflict transformation.

Bonnie also had an extensive career with the U.S. State Department, served in the U.S. Naval Reserves for over 20 years, and is a current non-resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institute and adjunct professor at the George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs and the Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service.

You can ask Bonnie a wide range of questions. She’s well-positioned to answer questions about: international affairs, nonproliferation and disarmament, military service, being one of the only women of color in her field, and the unique value of each of her four different graduate degrees: 1) JD, law degree; 2) Masters of Public Administration; 3) LLM in International and Comparative Law; and 4) PhD in International Relations.
